Common questions
The essentials, explained simply. Full answers on the programme page.
How do I legally obtain a St. Kitts & Nevis passport?
Apply for citizenship first, through an Authorised Agent. After approval in principle, complete the qualifying investment and remaining requirements. Once citizenship is granted, the passport is a separate application.
What are the investment and processing costs?
Qualifying investment starts at US$250,000. Due diligence for the main applicant is US$10,000 and processing is US$250 per applicant. Other government, professional and third-party costs depend on the route and your family.
Can my family apply with me?
Yes, eligible dependants may be included, provided each one meets the current age, relationship and dependency requirements.
How long does the process take?
The Citizenship Unit normally gives a decision within 120–180 days of acknowledging a complete application. Document preparation and the later passport application add time.
